Perhaps choose a beer from our bar with close to 100 different varieties and listen to a few yarns around our firepit. Day 2 : Gibb River Road, Windjana Gorge & Tunnel Creek
Leaving Broome early, the first stop is at Willare Bridge Roadhouse, on the banks of the Fitzroy River. From here we head to the infamous Derby Prison Tree before joining the iconic Gibb River Road into the great Australian outback towards Windjana Gorge & Tunnel Creek. We first head to Windjana Gorge in the Napier Range, once an underwater reef 300 million years ago. During the wet season a river rages through the gorge, but during the dry it’s really more a series of ponds and billabongs. Set out on a bit of an explore, spotting a freshwater crocodile or two and abundant birdlife. After lunch and a short drive, we head to Tunnel Creek. The creek has worn a 750-metre tunnel through the Napier Range and finishes at a refreshing swimming hole. Join your guide for a walk through Tunnel Creek, learning about indigenous warrior Jandamarra who waged war on European settlement in the 1890’s. After afternoon tea we head to our first bush camp for a night under the stars around the fire in the Oscar Range. Notes: Total driving time today is around five hours. Total walking distance is approximately four kilometres including walking through water in Tunnel Creek Accommodation: Camping (1 night) Included Activities: Windjana Gorge & Tunnel Creek exploration walk Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 3 : Wolfe Creek Crater
Hit the road again and start travelling towards Fitzroy Crossing, an historic Kimberley Town on the mighty Fitzroy River. We visit the old Fitzroy River Crossing then head to a spring feed waterhole for a refreshing swim. Onwards to the gold rush town of Halls Creek before tackling the Tanami Track to Wolf Creek Crater. An afternoon hike to the crater rim and a magical sunset sets the scene for another night camping around the fire in this remote, isolated destination. Notes: Total driving time today is around six hours. Total walking distance is approximately 3 kilometres. Accommodation: Camping (1 night) Included Activities: Fitzroy Crossing, Halls Creek & Wolfe Creek Crater Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 4 : Wolfe Creek to Purnululu (Bungle Bungles)
In the morning we conduct a headcount to make sure everyone has survived the night before moving on to our next destination, the remarkable world heritage listed Purnululu National Park (Bungles Bungles) We visit China Wall outside of Halls Creek and have lunch at Spring Creek before taking the challenging track into the Purnululu National Park. This afternoon we explore Echidna Chasm before ending the day at the Bungle Bungles Safari Camp. This camp with views to the Bungles Massif is usually reserved for tours costing significantly more. So, after a couple of days with basic facilities we can enjoy some comfortable accommodation and take in the sun setting on the Bungles Massif. Notes: Total driving time today is around five hours. Pause for morning tea with the Bungles Domes looming in the background before we say farewell to Purnululu and head to the Warnum Community for lunch.
